4th Mindsports World Championships Announces Partners

The 4th World Mindsports Championships are proud to announce that Ooredoo, the National Reading Campaign, AlFardan Motors, the Aspire Zone Foundation, Kiddy Zone and Cheeky Camel as official partners of the championship. As the event’s official partners and sponsors, they will be creating exciting experiences for tournament visitors and providing prizes for the championship’s official prize wall.

The event, organised by Mindsports Academy (MSA) and hosted by Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA), due to take place at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) from 19th to 27th August 2017 is set to attract international masters of mindsports to compete for over $100,000 USD in prize money,  prizes, and the crown title of Mindsport World Champion.

The nine-day tournament is expected to attract over 750 players from 18 different nationalities. Nationals and residents with an interest and passion for any of the six headline events Chess, Scrabble, Backgammon, Bridge, Go or e-Sports can still register for free on www.msawc2017.com and test their chances at winning prizes courtesy of sponsors and partners supplying additional prizes for the Championships.

At the event there will be an official prize wall for participants to collect unique and exciting rewards as part of the prize allocation during each tournament. There will be various categories so everyone has the opportunity to win something. All prizes have been gifted by official Telecom Partner Ooredoo, the Aspire Zone Foundation, Kiddy Zone and Cheeky Camel.

Those with youngsters and a knack for reading will have a chance to enjoy the activities being held at DECC throughout the tournament courtesy of Qatar Foundation’s (QF) National Reading Campaign. The campaign has partnered with the tournament to host a range of exciting literacy-related activities as part of its innovative that aims to cultivate a love of reading from an early age as a means for fostering a lifelong pursuit of knowledge.

Visitors to the tournament will also have a chance to check out the latest car models thanks to the championship’s partnership with Alfardan Automobiles, the exclusive and official importer for BMW and MINI in Qatar. As official sponsors for the 4th World Mindsports Championships, Alfardan Automobiles will showcase various BMW & MINI models including the all-new BMW 5 Series, BMW X1, the MINI Cooper 5 doors, along with BMW Motorrad during the event.
