Qatar National Day is the biggest celebration in Qatar and the celebrations commence every year on December 18. Things to keep in mind

Here are some regulations you must follow should you plan to decorate your car for Qatar National Day.

• Tenting the front and back glasses of vehicles or the side glass near the driver’s seat is banned.
• Dancing between cars, thus hindering traffic flow is not allowed.
• Applying spray paint to other cars or pedestrians or engaging in stunt shows using vehicles is prohibited.
• Do not put the Qatari flag in a way that obscures the back or front of the vehicle because this can confuse other motorists and cause accidents.
• Do not completely change the colour of the car.
• Number plates should not be concealed or covered.

National Flag

The national flag of Qatar has a great prominence, especially during patriotic celebrations. The opening ceremony of Qatar National Day begins every year with the raising of the flag.
