DURING the holy month of Ramadan, the Doha Marriott is welcoming all guests to Diwan Al Sultan, the traditional Ramadan tent at the Al Fayrouz Ballroom.
The tent offers a true Oriental atmosphere to experience Iftar and Sohour.
At the Diwan al-Sultan, Iftar is served from the call of Maghreb prayer until 7.30pm and offers traditional juices and foods for breaking the fast.
At 9pm, the Diwan Al Sultan offers a great Sohour buffet with a variety of cooking stations, accompanied by live entertainment.
The Ramadan tent, which reminds of time honoured traditions and memorable moments with family and friends, is sponsored by Doha Bank and Turkish Airlines. The tent has a capacity to seat over 250 people.
Shisha connoisseurs may also look forward to savouring a range of plain and flavoured tobacco varieties.
For those who prefer privacy, the hotel offers special in-room Iftar menus. Outside catering with customised buffets to private houses and offices is also offered.
During the holy month, the Corniche, the Mediterranean Restaurant, and All Aperto, the Italian Restaurant, open regular hours.
Also the renowned Friday brunch is offered throughout Ramadan. Asia Live! is open for dinner from 7-11.30pm.
Salsa, Taj Rasoi and Pearl Lounge will be closed throughout Ramadan and will reopen on the first day of Eid. The lobby will be open from 6pm until midnight.
