For the holy month of Ramadan, InterContinental Doha is preparing to recreate the genuine Arabian Ramadan dining experience in its spectacular tent. This unrivalled tent provides both residents and visitors to Doha with the opportunity to savour the finest hospitality and best traditions of Arabia.

Al Waha Ramadan tent returns for the fifth year, in collaboration with Ahlibank, as the most established Ramadan tent in Doha. This year the ambience will be enhanced even further by a new beach location for the tent. Guests can take in views of the Arabian Gulf as well as the glittering West Bay skyline across the waters.

Inside the tent, your senses will come alive to the sounds, sights, tastes and smells of a true Arabian experience. The stunning Arab specialty buffet includes all the traditional hallmarks of the Ramadan season. There are live cooking stations serving up a variety of delicacies including Arabic sweets.

Arabian entertainers from across the Middle East fill the tent with their lyrical performances. Star singer, Eliana Moubarak from Lebanon, a live five piece band playing traditional music including Oud and Tabla, and a Daraweesh Tourneur performing a whirling dance will together create a breath-taking spectacle. The warm welcoming ambience is enhanced through the rich Arabic décor and the Majlis style seating in parts of the tent, perfect for enjoying a sisha.

A rich sensory experience, this year’s InterContinental Al Waha Ramadan will be second to none. It is the ideal place for relaxing and entertaining with family, friends or colleagues. The tent is open from 20.30 until the early hours.

For companies who wish to extend the traditional Arabic hospitality, private Iftars can be booked in the Al Waha Ramadan tent for groups of 100 people and above.

For those looking for somewhere to break their fast, sumptuous authentic Iftars are available in The Café restaurant.
