Moroccan food fest begins at Gulf Paradise Hotel

As part of its celebrations to commemorate the 11th anniversary of King Mohamed XI’s accession to the throne in the Kingdom of Morocco, Gulf Paradise Hotel is hosting an array of events, including a food festival.

The week-long Moroccan food festival which started will run up to August 7. The event is being held in association with the embassy of Morocco.

The main attraction of the festival is a buffet, priced at QR60 (for adult) and QR30(for children under 12 years). The venue of the festival is Al Thoraya Restaurant at the hotel.

The hotel’s chief chef, Youssef, said Moroccan cuisine is characterised by rich spices, delicate flavours, wafting aromas and diversity, containing a mix of Arab, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean and African influences.

The table reservations will be taken from 7 to 9pm, and 9 and 11pm.
