About You:

As Manager Food and Beverage, you will be challenged to manage and control all of Qatar Duty Free front of house food & beverage operations. Further, you will be responsible to provide oversight and coordination for associated QDF F&B businesses, such as concessions.

Your main accountabilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Day to day management and oversight of all of the airport food and beverage operations and outlets
  • Implement and maintain all F&B operational policies & procedures
  • Contribute to future business development at strategic and operational level
  • Plan, identify, communicate and delegate key responsibility and tasks to Qatar Duty Free Employees
  • Organization of all staff welfare, duties, grooming, schedules and training, food handling and hygiene, HACCP
  • Through a process of mentoring and quality assurance, ensures that the highest possible standards are met and maintained
  • Actively drives sales and improvements through operational performance
  • Customer care – both internally and externally
  • Coordination of stock controls and cash handling processes


About You:

You will hold a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent ideally a Management Degree or equivalent in Hotel, Catering or Hospitality Management. You will have a Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP/ISO) Certification / Related Training, preferably HACCP level 2 or 3. You will have Wine & Spirits Education Trust or equivalent.

A minimum 8 years of job-related experience is required. Your experience will be a mix of hotel and catering experience within both 5 star and Casual Dining/Fast Food Environments. You will have experience managing multi concept, multi-tenant Food & Beverage Portfolio and a proven track record in adapting to high profile & demanding environments quickly, embracing challenges.
